with additional weekly visits from our physiotherapist
A hairdresser and chiropodist attend for a nominal charge.
Also an occupational therapist, dietician, podiatrist, optician, dentist
and Macmillan nurse are all readily available.
Doctors
Most residents retain their own general practioner as several local practices attend the home.
Visiting
Family, friends and representatives are free to visit at any time.
Their support in social activities and the care of their relative is welcomed.
Privacy and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Social Activities
A monthly programme includes such activities as entertainers,
board games, quizzes, social outings and visits to the theatre.
Churches
Local ministries are represented and services held in the conservatory lounge.
Those who wish to visit their own church are supported.
Transport
The Wirral Community Transport bus is hired for social outings, whilst a local wheel chair accessible taxi service can be hired for personal use at the normal rate.
Newspapers
These can be supplied at the normal charge upon request.
